What you can do today
On 3 Nov 2026 I compared the public Wikipedia article, the NFS Fandom page and PCGamingWiki. All three still describe a 2004 game from EA Black Box, published by Electronic Arts, for Windows, PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS and mobile phones.

Release dates I kept side by side
PCGamingWiki dates the North American Windows release to 9 November 2004. Wikipedia dates the North American release to 15 November 2004, Australia to 16 November 2004 and Europe to 19 November 2004. I keep both readings. I will not collapse them into one day.

There is no official remaster on the EA, Steam, GOG or PlayStation store pages I checked on 3 Nov 2026. The status page says that in the first screen.

The Fandom car list and the Wikipedia article both describe a 31-car roster, with a few region differences. Prices are not published, so the table leaves price blank.
