Need for Speed Underground 2 in a browser

Three different projects let people open Underground 2 in a desktop browser. They do not share saves, and this site does not host them.

Three projects, not one download

On 3 Nov 2026 I read the project pages for nfsu2.xyz, nfsu2.org and nfsunderground2.site, plus a TechPowerUp article dated 2 Nov 2026. They describe three separate builds.

Underground 2 Revived at nfsu2.xyz is a PC recompile aimed at WebGPU, with free roam and online races described on its own homepage. nfsu2.org is a PC runtime adapted from that work: its guide says single-player, movies off, about 35.5 MB of engine plus about 1.98 GB of English data. nfsunderground2.site is an experimental PlayStation 2 port with a Spanish-first interface and two-player rooms.

What I would not promise

I do not treat the 120 frames-per-second line on the Revived page as a lab result. It is the project's own claim. The same goes for download sizes. The nfsu2.org project documents desktop Chrome or Edge with WebGPU; its own guides count as one source. I leave mobile and Safari as outside that guide.

Saves do not move between nfsu2.xyz and nfsu2.org. The PS2 port uses its own memory-card file. If you already own a disc, the PC and PCSX2 pages are the other route.

Published browser project details

Different projects; source count refers to each claim, not the number of links on this page.

FAQ

Which browser build is the official EA one?

None of them. Electronic Arts has not published a browser edition. These are separate community projects.

Do I need to download an ISO from this site?

No. This page only links out. It does not store the game, a ROM, or a crack.

Can I move a career save between the browser projects?

Not between Revived and nfsu2.org, and not into the PS2 port. Each project documents its own save.
