How to play Underground 2 on a Mac
Bring your own PC files, or use PCSX2. The 60 frame claim belongs to the port's author.
Two documented routes
The daniiichan macOS port is a static recompile for ARM64 and x86_64, using DXVK Native and MoltenVK, with mouse menus and controller support. The public repo dates from 18 Oct 2026 and contains no game assets. Its installer imports files you already own.
PCSX2's wiki records an M1 Pro Metal test around 30 to 50 frames at 4x native. nfsu2.xyz can also open in a Mac browser with WebGPU, and that save does not match the native port.
